This is the highest-publishing market API Evangelist has scored. It is not the highest-scoring: the ceiling is low, seven companies clear the Exemplar line, and governance is zero for 56% of it.
It also learned the safety lesson every other market in this series has failed. Idempotency — retry without doing it twice — sits at 5.9% against a catalog 2.2%, and 15.1% among the leaders. Supply chain, where a retry dispatches a second truck, manages 1.2%. Digital health, where a retry duplicates a prescription, manages 1.3%. The difference here is that the consequence is immediate, irreversible and denominated, and when that is true the artifact appears.
And then it says almost nothing about authorization. OAuth scopes are published by 29 of 285 leaders — 10.2%, the lowest scope discipline of any market scored this year, in the market with the largest irreversible blast radius per credential. Auth is documented at 91.2%: this market explains thoroughly how to authenticate and rarely what the credential may then do. That gap is about to matter far more, because agents are arriving here before anywhere else — 36 Agent-Native companies, 3.2% against a catalog 1.4%, the highest rate measured. This market has given agents the ability to act and not the ability to know their own limits, in the one domain where exceeding them is unrecoverable.
