About this paper

Of 932 Fortune 1000 companies with a technology signal, Adobe ranks first on AI investment — 11.5× the median. Not top-ten; first. Its own job postings show what that means in practice: Python in 221 of 1,187, then AWS, Kubernetes, React, Spark, Kafka, and an explicitly named MLOps practice.

Its public API surface scores 69.5 on the Kin Score, above its cohort’s average, with 21 published OpenAPI definitions and a first-party MCP server. But the operational layer is where it thins out — operational transparency is Adobe’s weakest facet by a distance, and eight of fourteen agent-readiness dimensions are unmet: no error catalogue, no event contracts, no agent skills.

For a vendor, that combination is the whole brief: the budget is unambiguously there, and the gap is operational rather than strategic. Every technology carries the number of the account’s own postings it was found in and the term it matched on, so any claim can be checked or discarded.
